Savoring

The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.
— George Eliot

Savoring involves mindful awareness of positive experiences to prolong and amplify their value. Learning to slow down and fully appreciate the depth available in a given experience (present, past, or future) can significantly contribute to a person's well-being. Savoring is a skill that can be cultivated with practice; this module will explore why savoring doesn't come naturally to most of us, how it can contribute to our happiness, and what we can do cultivate this skill.
