Personal Growth Experiment

Week 1

  • If you haven’t already done so, take the Savoring Questionnaire.

  • Starting today, and each day for the next 7 days, spend at least 20 minutes/day learning about savoring.

  • Immerse yourself in the resources and links provided in this module to familiarize yourself with the principles of savoring, and make note of exercises you would like to try.

  • Using the Well-Being Strategies Tracker Form, keep track of your efforts and time spent.

Weeks 2-3

  • For the next 14 days, spend at least 20 minutes each day practicing one or more savoring exercises.

  • Focus on the strategies and practices that resonate with you. You may choose exercises from the menu of strategies provided, or come up with activities on your own based on what you’ve learned about savoring.

  • Experiment with as many of the different strategies as you can.

  • Again, keep track of activities and time spent savoring using the Well-Being Strategies Tracker Form. Note what worked well and why.

  • At the end of the 21 days, re-take the Savoring Questionnaire, and make a plan for how you will continue to incorporate savoring practices into your regular routine.
