Personal Growth Experiment

Week 1:

  1. Starting today, and each day for the next 7 days, spend at least 20 minutes/day learning about flow.

  2. As you learn about flow, make a list of times you’ve had flow experiences in the past. If possible, make plans to replicate these experiences as part of your experiment

  3. Using the Well-Being Strategies Tracker Form, keep track of your efforts and time spent.

Weeks 2-3:

  1. Each day for the next two weeks, spend 20 minutes practicing one of the activities listed in the “flow exercises” 

  2. After completing each exercise, think about whether your experience matched the description given in the “what is flow” page. If it did, think about which aspects of your activity contributed to your feeling flow. 

  3. Plan future activities based on what you’ve learned about flow experiences. 

  4. Continue tracking the activities you do using the well-being tracker.
